Health and Safety

At Fife Groundworks & Building Ltd Health and Safety is of paramount importance.

 

When we’re working on site, Our outstanding services to all our employees take the utmost care to work according to strict guidelines and safety protocols relating to the care and maintenance of Paving, Driveway & Groundwork equipment. Health & Safety for other members of staff and our valued customers is a priority for all our Driveway, Paving and Groundwork experts.

Health and Safety Act at Work etc. Act 1974

 

Fife Groundworks & Building Ltd a landscaping and groundworks company in Scotland strive to meet all H&S regulations in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (HASAWA):

 

The legislation sets out the general duties for employers to protect the health, safety, and welfare of their employees and others, including the public, against risks from work activities. 
We adhere to the specific regulations and guidance Safety Protocols covering common risks in landscaping and groundworks, such as: 

 

Working at height
Using machinery and tools
Manual handling
Slips, trips, and falls
Exposure to noise and vibration
Contact with electricity

 

 

When contracted to carry out onsite larger groundwork and paving commercial projects, Fife Groundworks & Building Ltd site managers have the relevant SMSTS & IOSH Managing Safely Qualifications. All  supervisors are SSSTS trained which provides a high level of competence within their roles. All plant operatives are CITB trained and all employees have the relevant CSCS cards.

Fife Groundworks & Building LTD employ an H&S consultant who regularly reviews our policy and also assists with site set up when required.
